|Coke, diet Coke, Pepsi
are the top 3 selling sodas. diet Pepsi is 7th.
Who's 4th? I was surprised. 633m cases sold last year. Yes, it's a well known brand.

Haven't blogged in forever. Philly Park nee Parx has done a wonderful job for a local casino. They still have the track, and two buildings of gaming - the main casino and the smaller one at the track which is mostly racing and poker, but with a great Chinese restaurant and smaller gaming area.
Also, buses come. from. EVERYWHERE. Seriously, buses come every 1.5hrs from Chinatown...in New York.
AC could fall off the earth tomorrow and no one would notice I think. Real soon anyways...

|#5 seems eerily plausible
In 25 years, I bet there'll be many products we'll be allowed to buy but not see advertised – the things the government will decide we shouldn't be consuming because of their impact on healthcare costs or the environment but that they can't muster the political will to ban outright. So, we'll end up with all sorts of products in plain packaging with the product name in a generic typeface – as the government is currently discussing for cigarettes."

|A Movie about Linotype?
'Linotype: The Film is a feature-length documentary film centered around the Linotype typecasting machine invented by Ottmar Mergenthaler. Called the "Eighth Wonder of the World" by Thomas Edison, the Linotype revolutionized printing and society, but very few people know about the inventor or his fascinating machine.'

|Or would you like what's behind door #3?
1) Matt Stairs come from behind GW-HR to send Phils to WS,
2) Flyers down 3-0, after being down 3 games - 0 in game 7 at Boston, win 4-3.
3) 31-10 becomes 31-38 at The New Meadowlands [which evidently accepts New miracles too]
I can't even figure out which one is more amazing, dramatic, crazy...and it all happened in the span of 25 months in 3 different sports. And it didn't happen *to* Philadelphia fans, but we were the victors! [prolly the most amazing of all!]

|Anybody seen Rod Serling lately?
1) Miami hires a football HC from *Temple* of all places.
2) PSU is in either the Legends or Leaders division, I can't keep it straight.
3) The Phils signed Cliff Lee for $120m giving the 4 bona fide ace pitchers.
I can't even imagine what might come next. Maybe the Eagles [don't say it! ~ ed.]

|Some good [bad] ones here
Hudson Hawk, criticized for your disapproval.
I nominated the 'Alltime Worst 3 Movies That Tried to be "Good Movies" and Even Cast A-List Stars,' [tm] which were, of course:
3) Allen Quartermain and the OMG my eyes make the hurting stop!
Yes, Brad Pitt Cartoon, and YES, See No Evil, Hear No Evil, but NO! You are not top 3.
Anyhoo, you and me have seen some of those reviewed, some of which aren't remotely terrible, but the reviews are pretty funny.
